Morgan Zipf-Meister is an artist who originally hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  During her years in New York she has acted and designed for both for the stage and screen.  She holds a BFA in Theater from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and has studied mask and dance work in Bali.  Morgan has found an artistic home in the New York Indie Theater scene.  Over the years she has worked with companies such as Theater of the Apes, Dreamscape, Piper McKenzie, Old Kent Road, Gemini Collisonworks, Boomerang, Obvious Volcano,  and Theatre of the Expendable among others.  She is a member of the spit&vigor Theater Company, and founding member and Production Manager for Drops in the Vase.

Morgan also has a deep love for all things related to food, drink, and travel.  She loves to be in the kitchen, coming up with new recipes for friends and family; and yes, the rumors are true.  When working on a project she will often bake for the entire cast and crew.

Morgan can be seen as Charmaine Milton in It's Getting Tired Mildred, NYC's longest-running monthly soap opera for the stage.  Now in its tenth season, It's Getting Tired Mildred can be seen on the second Saturday of every month at Under St. Marks Theater.  She is also a Moth storyteller, having told her story live in Tarrytown, New York, Boston, and Pittsburgh.  She was also featured on the Moth Radio Hour and her story can be heard here.

Morgan is also a Lighting Designer.  She was a 2015 New York Innovative Theatre Award nominee for 'Outstanding Lighting Design'  for her work on The Temple, or Lebensraum by Nat Cassidy (Tin Drum Productions).  Lost Adult: Answers to Any Name written by Dan Kennedy and Directed by Maggie Cino, with lights by Morgan, was a 2018 New York Innovative Theatre Award nominee for 'Outstanding Performance Art Production'.  For more information regarding her lighting work please click here.
